Last night, Southern Sounds made the final stop on its East Coast run of free gigs, taking over The Foundry for a mammoth showing in Brisbane.

Heading up north from Sydney, we saw vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and all-round good bloke Joyride headlining the whole jam with a hefty serving of Aunty Tracey’s Cookies, while omnipresent DJ FlexMami also treated crowds on the decks after recently supporting SZA, Kaytranada and Wiki. Tiana Khasi rounded up the roster with her elegant vocals, injecting some hometown flavour into the soiree.
