We’re coming home!

Over the weekend, Summer Bright Lager’s Summer Sessions tour kicked off in style, consisting of six free gigs across the East Coast with Cub Sport and Middle Kids. While we headed south for the tour’s first stop in Wollongong on Saturday, we took a short trip back up north for the second gig in our hometown of Newcastle.

Heading to the legendary Cambridge Hotel, it was a chance for us to catch up with some old mates like Mitch Revs, Ryan Callinan and Isabelle Cornish, all while basking ourselves in free tunes from the mid arvo. Local girl Fritz took the stage to flaunt her self-titled debut album, with Middle Kids and Cub Sport bringing it home once more.

With Weekend One done and dusted, it’s Sydney and Coolangatta’s turn this Saturday and Sunday – bring it on:
