A little wet weather didn’t deter any punters from coming out for the show, with a line snaking outside the door and sunshine peeking from beyond the clouds to put on another belter of an afternoon. With a backyard rolling straight out onto the beach, we enjoyed a few brews on the grass before heading inside for Bugs & The Belligerents, the latter of whom put on a heaving set filled with sing-a-longs and crowd surfing. And of course, Alex Lahey brought it home and showed once again why she’s one of the country’s most exciting stars.
It’s been a manic few weeks touring across the country for Summer Sessions – now we’ll be off to sleep for 72 hours straight. Until next time:
