Sydney record label Sweat It Out pulled out all the stops for their Writers Camp afterparty last night, filling Sydney dance haven Hotel Harry’s to the brim with some of the biggest artists in the country. Sponsored by Pals and yours truly, producers were everywhere to be found, all of whom throwing down as they watched their fellow sonic weavers show their talents on the ones and twos.
A highlight came when veteran artist Lucy Lucy stepped up to the plate, beginning her set with a ‘Wanna Be Starting Something’ disco house edit that was impossible not to throw down to. Unsurprisingly, all of those who dared to get behind the decks provided plenty of energy and classic hits, playing with an obvious inspiration that comes naturally following three days of writing and recording new tunes. And with an endless supply of Pals on hand, you really couldn’t ask for more. Get caught up via the gallery above:
