The Rock’s tequila at The Rocks.

Last night we hit Sydney to finally get a taste of what Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been cooking, with Teremena Tequila touching down in Australia. Like it’s founder, Teremena Tequila quickly made friends with us Aussies and has already elevated itself to icon status.

With three expressions of Teremana Tequila – Blanco, Reposado and Añejo – mixed into a series of cocktails, we were able to taste the entire spectrum of what this tequila can do, with each offering seemingly more tasty than the last.

While we sipped we caught musical performances by DJ Nicole Tania and percussionist Gerald Speranz and grazed on delicious tacos and nachos. Tequila-infused churros(!!!) closed out the event in true headliner style.

Hosted by MC Matt Suleau the night saw the likes of Asia Pacific Vice President of Mast Jägermeister, Matt Djokovic, Evelyn Ellis, Duncan James, Nadia Fairfax, Laura Dundovic, Matt Suleau, Will Stokoe, Bella Varelis, Ollie Skelton, Tim Robards and Tommy McKeown, all make their way through the doors.
