Clovelly is still one of Sydney’s premier beaches – especially as there’s a whole section without sand – and just up the road lies an equally enjoyable watering hole.

However, this wasn’t any ordinary Sunday session at The Clovelly Hotel – The Rubens were in the house to shake things up a little, and as you can see from the photographs above, it definitely wasn’t small. Crammed into the pub’s main room were hundreds of punters keen to catch the Menangle crew in action, and the band definitely left their mark once again on the Eastern Suburbs. See it here:
