Still riding the high off her packed out solo set at Splendour 23 and her special appearance with ‘Say It’ creator Flume, Tove Lo was in fine form by the time she took to the UNSW Roundhouse after Melbourne trio, Blusher, last night.
Armed with a trove of hits from her latest album, Dirt Femme, Tove quickly had the audience in the palm of her hand as she thundered around the stage singing at the top of her lungs. In accordance with her larger than life persona, she treated the crowd to plenty of costume changes throughout the night, with the crowd lapping it up each time in response.
It all came to a thrilling climax toward the end of the show, with Tove playing out her chart-topping Like A Version of ‘Dancing On My Own’, with the crowd screaming the words in response. Paired with countless shining phone lights and a two thousand strong choir, and it made for one of the most enduring live music moments of the year. Get caught up via the gallery above:
