The Old Skool “moment” continues…

Having risen to popularity during the heydays of ’80s punk and hardcore, caught the eye of Y2K-era teenagers, and become the shoe of choice for a generation of hip-hop fans, it’s safe to say that Vans’ Old Skool has seen some things. A staple in the skate world, the shoe has defied trends and fashion to cement itself as one of the most-loved kicks of all time.

To improve the Old Skool, Vans has adjusted the midsole taping to sit slightly higher than the outsole line, preventing wear and splitting while ensuring longer-lasting performance – meaning your favourite shoe will live a longer, happier life.

To celebrate this rebirth, Vans took over China Heights Gallery in Sydney, with people flocking to cop a pair of the new and improved Old Skool. Of course, we couldn’t resist the invite – check it all out in the gallery above:
