An evening in Newy with Pals.

With Newcastle’s West End undergoing something of a revival, despite iconic live music venue the Cambridge shutting its doors, we were more than keen to check out the latest offering from this emerging cultural hub. Wester Gallery opened their doors last night, with a steady stream of art lovers rolling through to get a look at works from the likes of local artists Ileigh Hellier, Liz Pike, Nick Barlow, Nick Fintan, Kimberly Swan, Mila Knight, Giorgia Bel and Justin Lees.

Swanning around the room whilst sipping on delightful Pals, we were treated to a showcase of Newy’s finest contemporary pieces as the sun set on what can only be described as a win for Newy’s creative community. Hit the gallery above for the tasty highlights and follow Wester Gallery here!
