…And what a series it has been. After a shaky start, the Golden State Warriors seem to have found their groove and after yesterdays performance, are starting to look like they could very well be the 2015 NBA champs. Steph ‘The Chef’ Curry did the unthinkable and cast Lebron into the shadows by hitting 7 count em, 7 threes and leading his team to a 104-91 victory over the crippled Cavs squad. Now we don’t like to discriminate, the Cavs are a strong team led by King James himself, but the god of luck seems to be giving them no Love, (pun intended, cause Kevin is still out) and without Uncle Drew (Kyrie) and K-love the future of the series just doesn’t look peachy for them.
If you can’t decide which team to go for, but you’re too true blue to not crack open a few frothies and hurl abuse at your flat screen then why not go for our own home-grown heros, Andrew Bogut and Matthew Dellavedova. Respectively playing for opposing teams, each player has shown their worth in the final series. Delly-boi has been having an absolute blinder and even gave Chef Curry a hard hand on defence in game 4. On the other end of the court, we’ve got Bogut, who has through his years of experience in the NBA proven that us Aussies aren’t soft-cocks when it comes time to ball with the best…
…The next game is the big one, as the GSW now hold a 3-2 lead in the series, game 6 will allow the Cavs to either tie it up, or lose everything and come up short in the 7 game finals series. Either way, we’ll be cheering on our two homies as they fight against each other in what has already been one of the most exciting finals series we’ve seen. ”
