When it comes to finding the right talent to shoot something as monumental as Calvin Klein’s Summer ‘19 Collection, we wanted to make sure we teamed up with the right person. Someone who not only has the right “look” but is also a down-to-earth human, capable of capturing the energy of the bold and colourful range. Naturally, Mimi Elashiry was at the top of our list.
You only need to glance at Mimi’s Instagram, which has over 950K followers, to see that multi-talented Egyptian-Australian has an affinity with the great outdoors, particularly the ocean. Whilst her passion and talent as a dancer and photographer are well documented, her love of catching rays and soaking up the salty air of our coastline made her the perfect fit for CK Swim.
Taking to a rocky beach in Sydney’s East, we spent the day shooting Mimi in the collection and she was undeniably in her element. Here she complimented the range’s vibrant colouring and functional cuts, rocking that iconic Calvin Klein branding with pure class.
