According to reports, Apple is gearing up to drop their third-generation AirPods, rumoured to launch in the first half of 2021. However, it’s also reported that Apple’s supply chain partner Invented will only provide 20% of assembly orders for the new model, with luxshare and Goertek being involved in the assembly process as well.
The AirPods are expected to have a similar design to the AirPods Pro, however, it’s reported it may not include recent features like active noise cancelling. Regards to the AirPods Pro, second-generation models are being rumoured to debut in the second half of 2021.
