Out of this world…

Ben & Jerry’s are coming through with a new limited edition flavour inspired by Netflix’s latest original series Space Force, and we can tell we’re gonna be all over this beauty in no time. The new flavour with a “bovine themed moooo added into the mix,” features “a universe of milk chocolate ice cream with fudge cows and almond toffee meteor clusters orbiting a sugar cookie dough core”. Who knew a single sentence could paint such a vivid picture?

Writing on it’s website, Ben & Jerry’s said “While Space Force works to get boots back on the moon, this cosmic concoction will launch your dreams into orbit.”

“With fudgy astronaut cows and toffee meteors, space couldn’t be any sweeter. Unless the moon was made out of sugar cookie dough. Which for this limited-time flavour, it actually is!” Damn, whoever is writing these snappy little descriptions deserves a raise and a half.

To make things even cooler, the new flavour became the first Ben & Jerry’s flavour to journey into the stratosphere, carried by a balloon super high above the Earth.

The new flavour will be available on store shelves for a approximate retail price of $4.99, no doubt people are going to be eating it up by the bucketload.

The Netflix series (brought to you by the creators of The Office) that the flavour is based on follows Steve Carrell’s character General Mark R. Naird and his team of scientists who are given the task of getting American boots on the moon in a short amount of time. It also stars John Malkovich, Diana Silvers, Lisa Kudrow and Jimmy O.Yang. It’s set to be released on the service on May 29.
