The streetwear and skate worlds were shook to the core last month when HUF founder Keith Hufnagel succumbed to his two year battle with brain cancer. He helped to revolutionise the two worlds, and no doubt his influence will be felt for years to come. In celebration of the streetwear/skate icon, long-time friend and streetwear figure Benny Gold has decided to raffle off his personal HUF collection, with all proceeds going to cancer research.
Speaking on the move in a video posted to Instagram, Gold said “My biggest memory of Keith is just that he was really generous… I want to do something with the collection that is meaningful. This collection of HUF clothing is from the early, early first years of HUF…”
“All of these pieces in this collection were produced in extremely limited quantities,” Gold added.
The collection features a total of over 150 t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hats which will all be given to a single raffle winner. Each ticket costs $50 per entry with, with 100% of ticket sales going to fund brain cancer research. You can enter the raffle by texting Venmo Benny-Gold at 4691 or make a Paypal donation as “FRIENDS & FAMILY” at [email protected].
