From LL Cool J almost naming his first-born after the iconic blue liqueur, to less extreme affiliations with the brand via shoutouts from artists like Tupac, The Notorious B.I.G and 50 Cent, rap music and Alizé go way back.

Short of an independent study into the business of alcohol and hip hop, it’s probably safe to say that Alizé is right up there on the podium alongside Hennessy and Moët as one of the most rapped about alcohol brands on the market.

Presented by Alizé, tomorrow night’s Butter x Trill event is celebrating Sydney Fringe Festival and all things hip hop. Dubbed ‘Straight Outta Parra’, a limited edition semi-frozen Alizé cocktail will be available (you also get a freebie on entry) and of course it wouldn’t be a Butter party without some of their signature fried chicken floating around in shoeboxes. In true Trill fashion, music will be provided by a selection of local favourites including Papa Frank, Ebony Boadu, DJ Discretion, XNYWOLF, Big Skeez, Jessica Jade and Rops1.

It’s all going down at Butter Parramatta this Friday. Doors open at 7pm so be sure to pull up early to avoid disappointment. As if the deal needed any more sweetening, Butter will also be open for business meaning that if you are on the hunt for your favourite new pair of kicks, they’ve got you covered. If you can’t make it tomorrow night, Butter Parramatta are hosting events throughout the weekend as part of Sydney Fringe Festival and will be teaming up with Alizé again for a ticketed set menu event later in the year. Stay in the know @butter.
