Conor McGregor has already proven himself to be very good at bashing people inside the Octagon, but he’s also got a knack for trash-talking and theatrics – making him one of the most charismatic figures in combat sports.

That might be why he’s reportedly been offered a role in the closing seasons of Game Of Thrones, which could potentially make for some GOAT viewing if this post-match interview is anything to go by:

Belfast publication The Sunday Life has reported that McGregor will appear in the cult series, stating “It’s been agreed that McGregor will appear in one of the remaining two seasons of Game Of Thrones. He was headhunted as it were by HBO, as one of the Game Of Thrones directors is a huge UFC fan. They believed that he would be a perfect fit for the show.”

Indeed, we’re thinking that McGregor heading into battle on screens would be a perfect fit given his history of bumps and bruises, and as Complex point out, the stars may be aligning – Season 7 of the show is set to film in his hometown of Dublin, Ireland. Furthermore, McGregor once sparred with The Mountain from the series in a video that went viral with 22 million views – so we know that the potential ramifications of a McGregor appearance would be huge.

With Seasons 7 and 8 yet to screen, let’s hope that McGregor makes an appearance before Game Of Thrones is laid to rest.
