Eternal troll Ryan Reynolds set the superhero fandom alight following his announcement of Deadpool 3 two weeks ago, his sharing of the film’s release date along with the return of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine met with eager anticipation. However, it appears old mate might have spoken too soon, as Marvel has now revamped its entire release schedule.
Specifically, it appears the upcoming Blade film is to blame for the shuffle, following director Bassam Tariq’s quitting the film earlier this year. Now, the reboot of the late ’90s/early 2000s trilogy has been pushed back from Nov. 3, 2023 to Sept. 6, 2024. Other Marvel projects that have also been pushed back include Fantastic Four, Avengers: Secret Wars and an untitled project, which are now being released across 2024 and 2025. The good news is, however, is that Deadpool 3 has only been pushed back two months, from September to November 2024.
