Childish Gambino just wowed Australian audiences at Falls Festival and Field Day, and it looks like we’ll be seeing plenty more of Donald Glover in acting form – with his Atlanta series set to hit Australian television screens.
Atlanta just took out the Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series (Musical or Comedy), while Glover was also victorious in the Best Actor (Television Series Musical or Comedy) category. Following the show’s successes, SBS took to Twitter to announce that the show would be arriving soon to its various platforms:

The series follows two cousins as they try to navigate their way through Atlanta’s rap scene. The news follows SBS’ recent launch of SBS Viceland, which has definitely added a little spice and diversity to Australian screens – and after Atlanta, we can’t wait to see what else the channel houses.
