After intense legal efforts and dramas, Elon Musk and Grimes’ new baby is now legally named “X AE A-XII”. The name is actually a slight shift from the original “X Æ A-12”, as California doesn’t allows special symbols or numbers in a legal name. But regardless, the final result is still just as eccentric and unique as the original.

If you’re still at a loss for how to pronounce it (like essentially the whole world), Musk explained it on the The Joe Rogan Experience last month and gave a proper tutorial, explaining that “It’s just X, the letter X, and then the Æ is pronounced ‘Ash’ and then A-12 is my contribution. Archangel 12, the precursor to the SR-71. Coolest plane ever. It’s true.”

It’s definitely a mouthful, but thankfully the pair are using a nickname, with Grimes saying in May she calls her baby “Little X” for short…
