Actress, producer, restaurant owner, fashion designer: Eva Longaria’s resume is certainly something to be marveled, and although she might not grab as much spotlight as the Desperate Housewives days, the 41-year-old actress is still brimming with ambition and energy.

That’s all evident in her latest cover shoot for Ocean Drive, where she epitomises poolside luxury by wearing Max Mara, Roberto Cavalli and more while lounging nonchalantly in a property that’s probably worth more than a small country. The accompanying interview sees Longaria discuss her personal life, the incoming Presidency and the drive behind her global successes.

“I don’t have a problem telling people if something’s not quite right, or course-correcting — but it has to be done in the right way. I’m cooperative, respectful, and very honest. Just because I’m a boss lady doesn’t mean I have to be a bitch. In my head, I was always a director and producer — it’s in my nature to be in charge,” she says.
