This version will feature all of the same cast as the original film: Michael Cera reprises his role as Scott Pilgrim, alongside Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who’s back as the enigmatic Ramona Flowers with Satya Bhabha as Matthew Patel, Kieran Culkin as Wallace Wells, Chris Evans as Lucas Lee, Anna Kendrick as Stacey Pilgrim, Brie Larson as Envy Adams, Alison Pill as Kim Pine, Aubrey Plaza as Julie Powers, Brandon Routh as Todd Ingram, Jason Schwartzman as Gideon Graves, Johnny Simmons as Young Neil, Mark Webber as Stephen Stills, Mae Whitman as Roxie Richter, and Ellen Wong as Knives Chau.
The creative minds driving this exciting project are none other than Bryan Lee O’Malley and the talented BenDavid Grabinski, who will take on the roles of showrunners and executive producers. But here’s the icing on the cake – the visionary director, co-writer, and producer of the original live-action film, Edgar Wright, is back in the director’s chair. Production is in excellent hands too, with Science SARU, the animation wizards behind “Devilman Crybaby,” and UCP joining forces under Netflix’s banner.
