If your excitement is peaking after that recent Matrix trailer drop, keep on reading, as we’ve got some tasty news for you…

Well, the internet has been well and truly set alight since the latest Matrix Resurrections trailer was released on Tuesday. It answered some of our questions, while also giving us plenty more, and as a trailer should, it’s got us even more intrigued as to what director Lana Wachowski has in store for us come Boxing Day.

But of course, we’ve still got a little ways to go before the movie is released, so we’ll continue to theorise and brainstorm our hearts out. Will Keanu Reeves’ Neo remember who he really is? The answer seems to be a resounding yes. Will he and Trinity break free of whatever hellish prison the machines have them kept in? That one we’re not so sure about, but just going off how formidable the pair were in the recent trailer, our money is on the affirmative.

But perhaps the most pressing question of all is will it live up to the hype? Well according to lead stars Keanu Reeves and Cari-Anne Moss, it seems like a yes, with Reeves admitting that he jumped at the chance to come reprise the iconic role after he read the script.
