Being the number one image-based social media platform in the world, you’d think Instagram would be putting serious buck into getting a makeover every now and again. Surprisingly, it seems the service has been sporting its standard look and layout for quite some time now. That changes today, however, as Instagram has announced a refresh of its signature look.
Spearheading the new look is a revamped logo which, in reality, is just a little brighter than the original. Along with the it however is a new typography, Instagram Sans, which will be used everywhere from billboards to websites and will be available to use on Instagram stories and reels. To tie it all together, the site will be implementing a new format that will make full-screen imagery the central focus of the app.
The future is now for the beloved social media app. Check out some of the new features below and keep an eye out for the their arrival on the service in the coming weeks.
