King Cobra is the new in-your-face film which offers a revealing glimpse into the dark side of the gay porn industry, featuring James Franco at his best.
Directed by Justin Kelly and based on the real life events, the film documents the fierce rivalry between porn moguls; played by James Franco and Christian Slater, who fight over the employment of teen-turned gay porn sensation Brent Corrigan.
The film features what might be James Franco’s most outrageous performance yet, who’s bold work includes roles in 127 Hours and Pineapple Express, and as the much loved white trash dreadlocked drug dealer, Alien in Spring Breakers. Franco participates in wild sex scenes in the film as producer Joe, who goes to murderous lengths to film the rising star Brent Corrigan, played by the Zac Efron-esque Garrett Clayton in the film.
Definitely worth a watch for the shock and intrigue, the film also offers up nostalgia to audiences casting former 80s and 90s teen queens Molly Ringwald and Alicia Silverstone as the mother and sister who are stunned to learn of the secret lives of their loved ones.
