Left it until the last minute to sort out your V-Day plans? We got you covered.

If you’re anything like us, Valentines Day sits somewhere in below birthdays, any festival or gig, and Christmas, in the “important dates” category. That said, if you’re partner or prospective lover is into it, it pretty much means you need to be into it too. So for all you slackers out there, here’s a few ideas that could possibly save your ass come tomorrow:

DONUTS FROM BUTTER

If you haven’t tried Butter’s hot cinnamon donuts I weep for you. For one day only, they’ll be offering a very special edition mini donut pack. That is to say, 12 of their signature donuts shrunk down to bite-size pieces and sprinkled with freeze dried raspberries. Arguably better than an engagement ring and just a fraction of the cost. Pickup or local delivery available, head to Butter Sydney to place an order.

MATCHY MATCHY OUTFITS

Nothing says “I’m into you” like a tasteful outfit match. Local go-getters Any Means have teased the latest installment of their annual Valentine’s Day series in a handful of dope colourways sporting a dreamy love candy graphic. Available for pre-order in very limited numbers, head to Any Means to view the collection.

BEARING IS CARING

Also back with a very on-brand Valentine’s Day special are Sydney Romantics. The local label are offering a Teddy + T Shirt pack this year in a Paddington meets Marrickville mash-up. Australian made with love, shop the collection at Sydney Romantics.

KEEP IT SIMPLE

Stuck for ideas for the big night? The classic dinner and a movie date is a classic for a reason. Get down to your local cinema and catch If Beale Street Could Talk, which opens this Thursday. Following his Best Picture Academy Award winner Moonlight, Barry Jenkins adapts James Baldwin’s acclaimed novel and love story for the ages. To top it off, Dendy and Palace cinemas are both offering Valentine’s Day deals. I’m not crying. You’re crying.

BOOZE IS BEST

Speaking of tears, we’ve also got a Valentine’s day tip for gin lovers. Dan Murphy’s have teamed up with Hendrick’s to offer a gift pack they call the “Woocumber”. For just $79 treat your significant other to one red rose, one 700mL bottle of Hendrick’s Gin and, the perfect garnish (and 100% non-suggestive Valentine’s day gift), one fresh cucumber.

Happy Valentine’s Day from all here at LWA
