Delivery life is everything.

It’s no secret that many small businesses have struggled since the government implemented the lockdown to slow the spread of the coronavirus. Because of this, plenty of bars and cafes and bottle shops have been forced to adapt to survive, delivering their regular eat-in menus and going above and beyond to make sure we come out of isolation at least 10 kilos heavier.

Here are some of the ones we simply couldn’t do iso without:

The Falcon, Newcastle East

Having opened less than two years ago the crew at The Falcon have already established themselves as the best (in our opinion) cocktail bar in Newy. Mixing meals from America’s south, like hot wings, burgers and jambalaya with tasty AF cocktails is a winning recipe in our books, and it should be in yours too. They’re currently still serving their full menu as takeaway with Uber Eats, so you can sort yourself out a ripping quarantine dinner tonight!

P&V Wine + Liquor, Enmore

The Inner-West’s worst kept secret, P&V has been keeping us sauced in style over the past couple of weeks. They have a massive range of organic and natural wines that somehow make you feel like a classy fucker when you crack that bottle at midday (hey, what else have you got going on). Peep their website here for all you swilling needs:

Eden, Bondi

Everyone knows that being inside all day watching Tiger King is no good for your health, which is why we’re super thankful that Eden is staying open and doing a delivery and takeaway service. With so many tasty plant-based items on the menu it’s become a go-to for when we’re after something nourishing, but can’t be f’d cooking. Check out their menu right here:

Totti’s, Sydney

If you like Italian, but haven’t tried Totti’s yet, we are seriously concerned for you. This restaurant has two locations – Sydney city and Bondi – and produce meals just like Nonna used to (or your mates Nonna if your family aren’t from The Boot). The number one thing you have to try is the wood-fired bread. That’s right, they even make bread fucking delicious. Peep their menu here:

212 Blu, Newtown.

Newtown cafe 212 Blu have stepped up their delivery game to bring you meals that you won’t believe came out of a cafe. Their mountainous Reuben and classic 212 toastie, through to their delicious Loggerhead Coffee and bloody mary’s are now dangerously easy to order, check out their whole menu right here, right now.

Shift Eatery, Surry Hills

Another one for our vegan pals, Shift Eatery’s all vegan deli is all time. From the world’s best vegan bacon and egg roll through to their incredible beef substitutes, they have your next cruelty-free meal covered. Hell, they even have hot cross buns for your Easter isolation celebration too. They’ve also just dropped their delivery fees, so you really can’t afford not to get on board. Check the menu here.

Harry’s Gourmet Pizza, Adamstown

Here’s another one from Newy that you need to know about. Harry’s Gourmet Pizza has been making sure our pizza levels are at an all-time high, with their fancy (but not pretentious) menu of tasty Italian disks flooded with locally sourced ingredients. Don’t order from the big pizza chains, get your fix from the real deal – website here.
