There’s few shows which have gripped audiences with as much ferocity as Game of Thrones. After all, it features tonnes of violence and dragons – what more could you really ask for?

With Season 6 having just wrapped up and leaving viewers begging for more, Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams – who portrays Arya Stark – has taken anticipation levels to new heights with a series of posts to her Twitter account. Season 7 will be the penultimate installment of Game of Thrones set to debut in mid-2017, and Williams has revealed that she’s just finished reading the script. Furthermore, she promises that it’ll blow your mind, and she seems pretty darn convinced that it’s gonna be life-changing:

With Williams singing the show’s praises so loudly, you’d hope that it over delivers in every aspect. But given the amount of mind-bending twists and eyebrow-raising scenes Game of Thrones has delivered in the past, you can bet that this will be edge-of-your-seat viewing in more ways than one. Sadly, all good things come to an end, with Game of Thrones set to conclude after Season 8 in 2018.

“They have a very specific plan about the number of seasons they want to do. If I could get them to do more, I would take 10 more seasons. But we take their lead on what they think they can do the best version of the show,” Casey Bloys of HBO said.

With Season 7 set to start shooting soon, we’re waiting on the finished product for the binge-watching marathons to commence. In the meantime, here’s a little teaser of what goes on behind the scenes. Holy balls, indeed:
