Chris Hemsworth must be happy…

No doubt Netflix’s Extraction has absolutely blown up since it’s release, the Hemsworth-driven blockbuster tearing up the movie sphere with it’s crazy action sequences and solid plot. And it appears that it’s gonna smash all sorts of records, with it projected to draw in 90 million viewers in it’s first month of release, which would make it their most watched original film of all time.

To give you some perspective, Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler’s comedy Murder Mystery drew 73 million viewers in four weeks, Ben Affleck’s Triple Frontier scored 63 million viewers, and Noah Centino’s The Perfect Date got 48 million viewers.

The film is the directorial debut from stuntman Sam Hargrave, and it appears he’s gonna be helming a sequel as well, with the action film becoming an instant classic all across the world. And let’s be real, with action characters like James Bond, Jason Bourne and John Wick being universally loved, Extraction’s Tyler Rake could definitely slide into that ever-growing list of action heroes with incredible ease.
