Following Justin Roiland’s high-profile firing from the show, Adult Swim have revealed the new voice of the show’s titular characters.
Announced back when he was facing domestic violence charges (which have since been dropped), the dismissal of Rick & Morty co-creator Justin Roiland has been a red-hot talking point – perhaps event he only talking point – about the Adult Swim show since. Now we have out first taste of the new, so far unnamed, voice actors in the form of the Season 7 trailer, and the response has been pretty interesting.
For the most part it seems positive; the voices do sound pretty similar, but many people on YouTube and Instagram have claimed that the voices start to sound “a little weird” when the intensity is increased. To be honest, there doesn’t seem to be much difference… but what do we know… check for yourself:

Outside of the voices, it seems like there’ll be the usual Rick & Morty escapades: violence, robots, supernatural shit, and spaghetti(?). The new season will debut on October 15th on adult Swim.
