The burners are back, baby!

At the turn of the millennium, Nokia dropped one of the most popular phones in history with the 3310, a device known for its long battery life, indestructible body and an extremely addictive game in Snake. Now, because we live in a world driven by nostalgia, HMD have resurrected the 3310 has with some little tweaks that’ll allow you to relive your 2000s mobile memories.

The phone takes the 3310’s original silhouette and makes it slimmer and lighter, as well as offering a larger screen. It’s also arriving in the OG navy blue alongside some brighter and more eye-catching colours, so there’s no need to head to Paddy’s Markets to grab a new phone cover. The battery life is still there, offering 22 hours talk time and an unbelievable one month standby time. Oh, and the price tag is attractive too, sitting at just under $70.

The bad news? According to SMH, the phone may be difficult to use in Australia, as “it sticks with old 2G GSM network standards for calling and texting… In Australia these networks are currently being phased out, with Telstra having already turned its 2G service off and other telcos to soon follow suit.”

If you no longer wish to live in a world glued to smartphone screens, then the 3310 might be your new go-to. Just make sure you take a quick break between your three-hour Snake binges. See all the details here.
