Narcos worthy content…

Notorious drug lord Pablo Escobar’s brother Roberto is suing Apple for $2.1 billion, after he claims his life was put in jeopardy by his iPhone X.

Roberto claims that someone hacked his iPhone and found his address through FaceTime, due to the alleged inadequate security protocols on the phone. According to the lawsuit, one year after purchasing the iPhone X he claims he got a life-threatening letter from a person named Diego, who said he found Roberto’s address through FaceTime.

Roberto has said he’s had to relocate as a result, losing a huge amount of money in the process and dealing with significant emotional distress. Roberto claims he’s had several attempts on his life prior to all of this drama, so it’s understandable to hear that iPhone-gate isn’t helping much on the stress side.

In order to get back at Apple, the brother of the infamous drug kingpin has now launched an exclusive gold-plated iPhone 11 Pro 256GB, which his company Escobar Inc is selling for approximately $750 AUD, in the hope of undercutting Apples sales. He’s even put together a trailer for his new version of the iPhone, which is so whaccky and hilarious it’s almost too good to be true tbh.

Somehow we doubt Apple isn’t phased by all of this, but at least Roberto is trying. More on this story as it unfolds…
