Scott Marsh is the bro who recently gained international attention for his Kanye loves Kanye mural, which was so good that he was reportedly paid $100,000 to take it down. He’s also the man that painted that topical Mike Baird mural, which was so nice that the Premier himself was caught taking a selfie in front of it.

Now, Marsh isn’t slowing down with his next venture titled ‘Australian Graffiti’ – a moving art exhibiton/treasure hunt where you can actually take home the works on display throughout Sydney’s train line. Here’s how it works: Marsh will be affixing his creations to various trains throughout the city. He will then leak social media clues and timetables hinting at where said works can be found, which can then be taken home – first in, best dressed. What’s more, Marsh himself will be near the art to record the reactions of the victorious finders. You can see one successful lady who took home a Marsh creation right here.

Given that the works will be exploring the clash between art and vandalism, it’s only right that the exhibition is going down on CityRail’s turf – where many writers and painters earned their stripes with their spontaneous creations. Marsh has taken that same guerilla DIY approach and given it his own twist, and we’re more than interested at how ‘Australian Graffiti’ is going to turn out.

It will be going down from today until Wednesday, June 22 – stay glued to Marsh’s Facebook and Instagram pages for the clues. On the evening of June 22, a pop-up exhibition will be taking place somewhere in Sydney CBD – so keep both eyes open for clues about that location, too.

This is just a tad exciting, isn’t it? We feel like kids on an easter egg hunt, except less chocolate and way more #art:
