Do you like meat, cheese & cocktails? All of those are rhetorical as the answer is yes of course, but we thought we’d start this article on a catchy note. Well, you’re in luck, as Sydney’s The Bavarian has some mad specials this January, and honestly I’m considering cancelling my weekend plans to hop on over.
For the entire month of January, the Bavarian’s Sydney stores are coming through hard for us all, serving up all-you-can-eat meat and cheese boards (at a modest $25 per person). Sadly, those of us hoping to have these beauties all to ourselves will need a buddy, as there’z a minimum of two diners required for a platter, but regardless, just eat so quick that your mate doesn’t stand a chance (well you only have 90 minutes to finish the platter anyway, so you’re gonna have to hustle regardless).
The platers come with a selection of cheeses, Prager ham and a range of meat cold cuts, liverwurst, gherkins and pretzels. Regarding sauce options, each platter comes with two dipping sauces of Kuhne mustard and remoulade (the nicest sounding condiments I’ve ever heard).

Regarding cocktails, the Bavarian is offering $20 cocktail jugs every Sunday until the end of the month. Flavours on offer include lychee paradises, strawberry margaritas and numerous more. Looks like Sunday drinking seshs are sorted for the rest of the month!
