Starring Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes the 1992 film centres around two basketballers; the unsuspecting Billy (Harrelson) and the loudmouth Sidney (Snipes) who hustle their way around LA. The movie spawned a million quotable moments, iconic looks, and probably marked the pinnacle for “foods that start with the letter Q”, and largely hinged on the charm and charisma of the two stars, as well as Rosie Perez’s powerful performance as Gloria, Billy’s fiery girlfriend.

Now, like all iconic pieces of IP, we are about to receive a reboot, with rapper Jack Harlow and Sinqua Walls to star in the film which will drop in May. It’s the ‘First Class’ artist’s acting debut and it’s extremely hard to watch the trailer without internally asking yourself “why”… BUT – if you can overlook the fact that this is another example of Hollywood’s risk-averse, manipulative, and boring strategy to get us to wander down memory lane – it doesn’t look terrible… Watch the teaser below and the trailer for the OG above:
