The Roy family civil war continues in the new Succession trailer.
With almost two months to the day before season four commences – it will be hitting HBO on March 16th – the teaser for Succession has set the tone for what will be the most high-stakes season of the show yet. As Tom Wambsgans (Matthew Macfadyen), the Roy family drama is “like Israel-Palestine, but harder and much more important.”
The trailer opens up with some textbook Succession humour, pettiness and manoeuvring with Roman (Kieran Culkin) negotiating taking a call to arrange a text to arrange a call (told you it was petty…) with the families patriarch Logan Roy (Brian Cox). From there, we also get a glimpse of the wedding of Connor Roy (Alan Ruck) and Willa Ferreyra (Justine Lupe), a typically cold scene between Tom and Logan, and more.
