A very detailed pipe…
A Ukrainian wood pipe carver has gotten his wish granted by none other than the Governator himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Max Bogdan, the pipe carver in question, is a serious fan of Arnold and the Terminator franchise, and thus set out to carve a pipe of his idol, going into serious detail to capture the two sides of the time-travelling assassin (literally).
After finishing his creation, Bogdan posted it to Reddit in celebration of Schwarzenegger’s 73rd birthday, but we’re betting he definitely wasn’t counting on Arnie himself commenting on the post, asking if he could purchase the pipe. However, after insisting that the pipe was a gift, Bogdan sent it free of charge, prompting Arnie to send back a signed photo of himself smoking from the hand-carved pipe. Now, that time has come, as Bogdan has taken to Instagram to flex on all of us mere mortals.
Writing along with the photo, Bogdan got deep, saying “This is probably the best day of my life. I’m very happy and it’s not even about the big money or the many orders. He is a legend and I was able to touch him, it is a great honor for me. And by the way, this is an interesting story. An ordinary guy made a pipe for Arnold, and he not only accepted the gift, but also sent a photo with a signature in return. It sounds fantastic, but it’s possible! I am grateful to God that I have lived to this day, and thanks to everyone who helped me in this, I am very grateful.”
