Fans of cult series Breaking Bad can now get a taste of it IRL, with the show’s Los Pollos Hermanos restaurant jumping off the screens and into Sydney for two days.

Los Pollos Hermanos will be taking over one of Sydney’s favourite fried chicken spots, Thirsty Bird, on April 11 and 12 for a crispy lunch and dinner experience. The event is taking place in conjunction with the launch of Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul, which launches its third season on April 11 exclusively via Stan.

However, it’s not only fried chicken which is on the cards: Gus Fring from the television show will also be at the pop-up event, conducting meet and greets with 25 lucky punters who keep their eyeballs glued to the Facebook event. Furthermore, those who put on their best Better Call Saul outfits to the event will be rewarded with some exclusive merch and prizes.

Over the two days, Los Pollos Hermanos will be open from 11:30am-3:00pm for lunch, and 5:00pm-8:30pm for dinner. Head over to Thirsty Bird in Kings Cross and banter about your favourite moments from the show, preferably relating to fried chook and/or methamphetamine.
