The new normal…
It’s fair to say TikTok is one of the biggest apps on the planet, with it being virtually impossible to escape its far reaching grasp no matter where you are. But still, its kinda crazy to hear that the app has officially exceeded 2 billion downloads, according to a report by analytics company Sensor Tower.
In the first quarter of 2020 alone it generated over 315 million downloads across the App Store and Google Play, which is the highest number of downloads for any app in a quarter. India is currently in the lead with the highest number of lifetime installs, having over 61 million downloads, which translates to a third of total downloads. Following India is China with 196.6 million downloads and then in number three is the United Starts with 165 million downloads.
Pretty insane hey, but its fair to say the app is addictive to say the least. Check out a couple of our favourite TikToks below.
