Imagine taking the e-Bulli up the coast next summer.
For over six decades, the beloved Volkswagen Bulli has been synonymous with surfing, road-tripping and chilled vibes. Of course, over that time, the automotive industry has changed greatly and Volkswagen are endeavouring not to get left behind with the unveiling of the new electric e-Bulli.
Available from 2022 the car which fuses the classic VW look with modern technology is both pleasing on the eye and good (or better) for the environment than any of its predecessors. It features a top speed of 130 km/h, retro speedometer and rear-wheel drive, with the battery located at the back of the car for improved maneuvering.
It’s said to cost around 70K USD and can charge to 80% in 40 minutes with a range of about 200 km per charge. It also comes in a range of colours too, all of which you can check out below:
