A long way from Uncut Gems…

Hot off dropping the release date and official images for the its latest film Hubie Halloween, Netflix have wasted no time in capitalising on the hype it’s created, dropping the hilarious official trailer for the Adam Sandler comedy.

The trailer is every bit as goofy as you’d expect, with Sandler’s character Hubie getting himself into various sticky situations around the town that makes for perfect comedic gold. However, there is a smidge of horror thrown in with abductions and other supernatural acts, which threaten the town’s Halloween celebrations. With an all-star cast filled with comedic icons like Kevin James, Maya Rudolph, Kenan Thompson and Julie Bowen, the comedy-flick looks pretty damn promising. Oh, and Sandler of course employs one of the weirdest speaking voices he’s ever used, a creative choice we’re not gonna even question because, well, it’s Adam Sandler! He’s the man.

The movie could also serve another secret purpose to Sandler, who said that if he didn’t get an Oscar for his performance in Uncut Gems that he “would f****ng come back and do one again that is so bad on purpose just to make you all pay.” Well, all I can say is shut-up and take my money. I’m gonna love anything you do Sandman.

The movie is set to debut on Netflix on October 7. Check the full trailer below.
