LaKeith Stanfield takes on the role of Clarence in this comedic biblical film, where the preview offers a sneak peek into his attempts to mimic the miracles of Jesus of Nazareth as a means of transcending poverty. Although Clarence deceives those around him with his “miracles,” his intentions are not to harm anyone. Using his newfound fame to climb the societal ladder, he aspires to leave a lasting impact on the world, mirroring the actions of Jesus. However, Clarence soon discovers that he has made enemies within the Roman Empire, turning his miraculous endeavors into a calamity.
Directed by Jeymes Samuel, the film features a star-studded cast, including David Oyelowo, Omar Sy, Benedict Cumberbatch, RJ Cyler, James McAvoy, Alfre Woodard, and more, alongside Stanfield.
