Two of Hollywood’s most recognisable faces step up in the Spiral trailer.

Did you think the Saw franchise had been flogged to death after eight(!) films? Well, Chris Rock certainly didn’t. In fact, he came up with the story for the new Spiral film which is an extension of the puppet-fondling series. Today, the first trailer for the film, which is directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, who also took the reigns on Saw II, III, and IV.

Here, we see Rock working the beat with his partner played by Max Minghella (The Handmaid’s Tale), along with Samuel L. Jackson who is playing Rock’s father… and also is a cop. The trailer ends with Rock handcuffed and holding a saw and we all know how that turns out. Peep it below and stay tuned for the release date:
