In an age where we have Spider-Men from different dimensions teaming up for billion dollar blockbusters, it’s safe to savour real life ones are struggling to match the escapades of their movie counterparts. The latest of which comes via a Disneyland Spider-Man that was performing a classic web swing, but instead of making a clean landing, he crashed right into the wall and out of sight.
Luckily, old mate was just a robot and no one was actually harmed in the accident, which makes the scripted dialogue after the incident all the more hilarious, with a voice announcing that the “facility” the web-slinger destroyed had not been “equipped with airbags”, to which Tom Hollands voice replies a pensive “Okay”.
The show quickly resumed once the animatronic was all patched up, but luckily, someone caught video footage of the incident. Check it below, and the next time you’re watching No Way Home, poor one out for our poor robot mate.
