Penn Badgely’s beloved serial killer hops across the pond in the new batch of episodes…
Fans of Netflix thriller You can finally breathe a sigh of relief, as the first teaser for season four of the cult show has finally landed. And in accordance with You tradition, the new batch of episodes sets itself apart from its predecessors, with protagonist (or should we say antagonist?) Joe Goldberg attempting to leave the criminal life behind, but with little success.
The three minute trailer shows old mate assume the role of a university professor in the UK, and although all seems to be going well for his Good Will Hunting rebrand, things quickly turn sideways when he starts receiving messages from an unidentified stalker. Add the fact that an “eat the rich killer” is simultaneously making the rounds through Britain at the same time, and, well, it’s a perfect storm for Goldberg to fall back into his murderous and sociopathic tendencies (despite his desperate attempts to hold strong in the trailer).
The first half of You season four lands on Netflix on February 9th. Check out the full teaser below.
