Leaves us with many questions…

Disney has dropped the first trailer for WandaVision during the Primetime Emmy Awards, and boy, it’s definitely their most unique kind of trailer yet. Getting surrealist and just a bit anxiety-inducing, the Marvel wizards take us to the home life of Wanda and Vision, the black and white frames and old school aesthetic leading us to believe we’re in some 1950s sitcom.

However, things definitely take a turn when Wanda is asked about the story of her and Vision’s romance. When they can’t come up with an answer, colour returns as Vision and Wanda start questioning their reality. At one point a woman asks Vision (clad in the iconic Vision suit) if she’s dead, to which Vision responds “No, why would you think that?”

“Because you are,” she responds, before breaking out into a murderous cackle. This is definitely what I was thinking as well (just going off the events of Infinity War and Endgame) which leads us to believe Marvel might indeed be messing with time or dimensions again, a choice we wouldn’t be at all mad at. It’ll be interesting to see where they go with the show, but this trailer has definitely left us with way more questions than answers.
