The Adult Swim cartoon gets an anime makeover.

With fans waiting and waiting for the other half of season four (seriously it’s been fucking ages) Adult Swim have drip-fed a little Rick & Morty adventure online today. Titled ‘Samurai and Shogun’, the episode was created by Anime studio Studio DEEN and sees Rick and Morty battle it out with a bunch of other ninja Ricks in Japan.

It’s pretty fun to watch and easily one of the duo’s more gruesome adventures, but let’s face it – Rick & Morty is nothing without the deadpan of Justin Roiland’s Rick or his quivering self-righteous Morty. Peep it below and keep wishing and hoping for new eps!
