Remember last year when Ryan Gosling caused the Sydney Harbour Bridge to shut down?
Well now we have our first look at the result from that massive inconvenience, Gosling’s new action-comedy The Fall Guy
. Here, the Opera House and other legendary Sydney landmarks are the backdrop to what seems to nearly be a reprisal of Gosling’s Nice Guys character.
The film is based on Glen A. Larson’s beloved 1980s television series of the same name, and Gosling plays “Colt”, a stuntman on a mission to find a missing movie star he once doubled for. Emily Blunt joins the cast as his ex-girlfriend, Jody, while Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays the AWOL star. The film boasts an impressive supporting cast, including Stephanie Hsu, Winston Duke, Hannah Waddingham, and Teresa Palmer.
Directed by David Leitch and written by Drew Pearce, “The Fall Guy” is set to hit theatres on March 1, 2024. Fans of the original series will be excited to know that Lee Majors is making an appearance in this highly anticipated remake. Check out the trailer below:
