Legendary boxer Mike Tyson has opened countless lavish properties in his time, but perhaps none are as interesting as his Ohio mansion that he was forced to sell for approximately $1.7 million AUD during financial hardship in 1999.
Since then, the property has been converted into a church for the Living Word Sanctuary. Pastor of the church Nicholas DeJacimo said the property hadn’t been touched for “10 years”. Crazy.
Getting their designer hats on, the church converted the pool into a sanctuary, the living room to a gathering place and the old fireplace to an indoor waterfall (whaaat), however Tyson’s basketball court is still intact, no doubt its getting put to good use now.
And we can’t forget the famous tigers that made Tyson so notorious in the Hangover, with the cages they were kept in being dismantled for a pavilion.
Check out what the mansion pre and post church revival.
