A spy film with a whole lot of heart…

Universal Pictures are coming through hard for those still sad about No Time To Die getting pushed back, dropping the new trailer for its all-woman spy thriller The 355 (named after the code name for the first woman spy in the American Revolution which is genius).

The film follows CIA agent Mason “Mace” Brown (played by Chastain) as she travels the world to assemble a team of spies from various international agencies, in the hopes of stopping a deadly weapon from falling into evil hands. The film adds an interesting dynamic to the group, having the spies be intense rivals and competitors in the espionage world. However, they soon realise they’ll have to put their differences aside in order to save the world from going to total shit.

The film also stars Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o (MI6 Agent Khadijah), Diane Kruger (German agent Marie), Fan Bingbing (mysterious woman who tracks the 355’s movements), and Penelope Cruz (Columbian psychologist named Graciela), all of whom get some shine in the trailer.

Set the Jay-Z’s ‘Run This Town’ ft. Rihanna and Kanye West, the trailer sees the group kick some serious ass as they have to balance their personal lives with their dangerous occupations, fighting to stop “World War Three”. The clip also features some cool as hell action pieces, ranging from seriously intense gunfights to anxiety-inducing fight scenes, all of which strike a perfect balance between being grounded in reality and out of this world.
