If you’ve got children in your life, you know how helpless it can feel when they’re sick. Even if it’s something small like a cold or fever, you only really wish you could somehow absorb their pain and take it away. When it comes to debilitating, serious illnesses like genetic diseases or cancer, it opens up a whole new level of anguish for everyone involved.
Art Helps Heaps was born after Kieran and Skye Burke’s son was diagnosed with multiple rare genetic disorders and associations. He now lives a normal life, thanks to support from government initiatives and not-for-profits. Recognising that creativity can be both a stimulant and a distraction during tough times, Art Helps Heaps is their way of giving back.
Contributing to Art Helps Heaps’ Project 5 is probably the easiest charitable donation you’ll ever make. They’ve tapped 15 artists to design shirts—all available online—featuring unique interpretations of their branding. They’re also teaming up with Casio to give the legendary W217H-1A watch an artistic update by the one and only Ed Davis.
These tees are super limited edition (only 30 units per design), and the purchase window is open for just one week from 8 a.m. this morning—so grab one now! Net profits from each sale will go to CMRI/Jeans for Genes, with Art Helps Heaps aiming to raise $100K.
